an early birthday gift from my Mom....
this table is way way way older than me...
it has been sitting in a garage for atleast 28 years...
Mom pulled it out....
had a new piece of wood cut for the top...
and tiled it herself...1st time to tile...
doesn't it look great...
she took photos of the process...
when she gets them to me I'm going to share...
cause this table was in bad shape...
it belonged to my Great grandparents..
it was used as a kitchen work table...
look at it now...it is beautiful...
look at the chair...isn't is sweet...
a friend gave her the pillow...
she turned it into the cushion...
I just love the color she picked....
I know proudly have it in my office...
a perfect place to make phone calls..
without the distraction of the computer...

Isn't that great! What a wonderful little story. My gosh---reminds me of my mom's maple dining room table that I have in my dining room----bought it at Foley's in Houston in 1952---and I still have the receipt.
