Friday Fences and rambling post...

Today I'm joining FRIDAY FENCES....
it is hard to believe friday is here so fast...
well cold temperatures are back...
for 48 hours...I think I can handle it that long....

well I've planned my birthday for next month...
I'm having two parties...
one on St. Paddy's day for adults...
one the next day for family with the kiddos...
hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill....

you only turn 50 once right...
I've decided to give up popcorn for lent...
I love popcorn...sometimes I have it for dinner...
sprinkled with a little cheese...

little britches has been cutting molars this week...
so we have had a different week...
thank goodness for nice weather...
we've gone outside a lot...seems to get his mind off of the teeth...
we found some really cute books at the library this week...
His favorite is Tubby by Leslie Patricelli...
really cute book...he is really into buses....
excavators(yep he can say that), dump trucks...
cranes...forklifts(Paw Paw has one)...right now...
lot's of road construction going on...so we see alot of them...
our bank is by a bus station...so he see lots of buses...
we saw 4 dump trucks in a row the other day...
he was so excited...every day he asks to go to the library...
he is using small sentences 3 or 4 words atleast...
he won't be 2 until this summer...
okay the Oma bragging is done...
just can't help myself...my son and daughter were big talkers too...

What is it with little boys and big machines? My boys were fascinated with excavators and such when they were 2-4 or so. My grandsons have been the same.

I am looking forward to your birthday!!! Glad you are having a party! Amber was 14 years old the year I turned 50. She have me a surprise party. She had invited all my friends and even had activities. I was surprised to see everyone! I have only had three birthday parties in my life and Amber gave all three of them.

Happy Birthday in advance! I guess this means you are now a grown up!
And I am happy I know you.
