Friday Fences

Today I'm joining:
click on the link to see other fences...

This is been a whirl wind day....
the First day of Summer...
my most favorite time of the year...
I know I live in Texas....and it's HOT...
and our business is super busy...
but I love all that summer stands for...
flip flops...snow cones...veggies from the garden..
lake time....sprinkle parks...petting zoos....
longer days....

Hotrod and I have been to the petting zoo 3 times this week...
he's getting to be on a first name basis with the animals...
and the people that work there...
Today we got licked by a cow...Big Red...
I've never been licked by a cow...
his tongue was like sand paper...
The bunnies...and Little Jack the donkey...
are Hotrods favorites...
I'm still only take photos with my phone...
not bringing my big camera along...
this is our time to connect with the animals...
we only spend about 30 minutes...
but that satisfies him...
and he takes a good nap when we get back...
which gives Oma time to get office work done...

It is a big weekend around here...
Dance Recital....2 shows...
Hotrods 3rd Bday party....
a photo shoot with our beautiful Dancer Elisa...
she goes off to college this fall...
so happy she will still be in the area...
I feel like she's one of my own...
Hope you are all enjoying the first day of SUMMER...

That squash looks good! I love fresh off the vine squash.

Hot Rod and Charley will have happy birthdays! I'm the photographer at Charley's party and I'm not really a photographer so I hope things turn out well! :)
