The long 4th of July week...

It has been a great 4th of July celebration...
even with a work day thrown in the middle...
fireworks...family day...

Saturday was spent at the horse track...
the last day of live racing until September...

I love watching the horses run...
I'm not into betting on them...
I do like to pick them...but not bet on them...

we found a perfect place to sit...
with a table and chairs...
a bit of shade...
and a nice view of the stage....

 because after the last race....
they had a concert....
one that I as excited to see...
our daughter met us out there later in the day...
because she really wanted to see...

it was a fun show...
I had a blast with my daughter...
we danced...sang...laughed...
even managed to get Hubby up to dance once...
It was a family friendly show...
lots of families there...
Today we filled up our Hillbilly pool...
floated around and listened to music...
I worked on a few projects I will share later...
Hubby made homemade vanilla ice cream...
It hit the spot on a hot summer day...
now it's time to melt down...get ready...
for a new week...
Hubby and I are planning a trip to coast...
keeping my fingers crossed it works out...
a fun Billy Currington song...

What a great way, to cap off the 4th of July week!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I do hope your plans work out. Including, the weather. Ding-dang weather can mess with plans, some times. :-)

Happy New Moon!
