Hi Deb, Don't you just love a winding country road that looks like it leads to nowhere, but in fact you know there's a story at the end of that road. Old barns and farmhouses, farm equipment, creeks and ponds, and outbuildings. Each one has a story to tell like the barn in your header. That is some red dirt. Is it clay? I really love little road trips like this. So pretty! I don't know very much about Texas. I have seen some pictures of the Fredericksburg area (I think). Anyway, is it very close to you and is it as pretty as I remember the pictures?

Fredricksburg is located in the hill country of Texas, these photos were taken in East Texas not to far from Louisiana
