Two more recipes......

dandelions in the fall....

These are two recipes from my Nana:

Fruit Salad in a Jar

1 pkg vanilla pudding (must be the cook-n-serve)

1 pkg tapioca pudding

1 tall can mandarin oranges or peaches

1 (14oz) tall can chunk pineapples or tidbits

3 to 5 bananas, cut in slices (add the day you serve)

Add enough water to juices from oranges and pineapple to make 3 cups. Add vanilla and
tapioca pudding and stir. Cook until thick. (Bring to a boil, stir, and don't let it stick) mixture will
be clear. Cool. I usually put it in the freezer for a short time. Add fruits and put in a jar.
This is attractive in a Mason Jar or a pretty glass bowl. Add bananas on the day you serve.

Pink Puff

1 sm. can crushed pineapple drained
1 sm. container cottage cheese
1 sm. container Cool Whip
1 pkg. strawberry or cranberry jello
Mix incredients and refrigerate 2 hours

My Mema used to make the pink puff. I think I'll try it this year. Thanks for the recipe.

I bet that fruit salad would be cute served in a glass jar. Sounds good too!

Hi Deb,
I love the recipe for fruit salad in a jar! We both have vanilla pudding in our recipies! What would we do without vanilla pudding?! Yum! Have a great day. Hugs, Loretta

Deb, these photos look like they could have been taken here, in the afternoon! We had fog and frost this morning. Time to start scraping the car off again!

Oh Deb that pink puff recipe looks good. We used to make something like that but with orange jello. I might have to make that for Thanksgiving this year.
Thanks for sharing,
Tracy

These both sound very yummy. The pink puff is similar to a recipe I make, but has no cottage cheese and you add marachino cherries. Thank s for sharing some of your favorites!
