The Rake....

had a little photo session with a Rake...

verb (used with object)

3. to gather, draw, or remove with a rake: to rake dead leaves from a lawn.

it is that time of year here in Texas...
the leaves are just now starting to fall...
I usually leave mine in my flower beds ....
to keep them safe from the winter...
believe it or not I do enjoy using a rake...
how about you??

We are (mostly) all raked her now, and I have to admit I didn't do any of it. I guess I missed a chance for some pretty pictures.

Nice pictures! I think I like to hide mine so I don't have to use it!

This is the chore that I dread more than any other! One year we raked over 100 30 gallon bags of leaves! We try to mulch most of them, but there are just TOO many. Lovely shots! Kat

I married a Rake so he does the raking and I take pictures of The Rake and rakes. They do make great subjects...especially if they are rusty and bent....both of mine are. LOL! Great photos!

I don't mind using a rake but I don't like picking the leaves up afterward. Right now I just wish I had a tree in the yard so that I could use a rake. When we lived at the lake we burned the leaves. It was fun!

I don't do a lot of raking, but the kids used to enjoy raking leaves into huge piles, then jumping in them.
