Blue Jays are usually pretty aggressive--I'm surprised they let the Border Patrol stop them, LOL!
Been seeing lots of Cardinals lately, but dang they are hard to catch on film.

I do love the blue jays! They just started coming back a few years ago. The West Nile virus got to them so we missed seeing them for awhile. They congregate in a tree in our back yard. One year they nested and while their babies were still in the nest they would dive bomb us if we came around. Our herb garden was out by the fence at that time and my son would put a pan over his head before going out to pick some. Man!! That was like 15 years ago! Love my memories! Thanks for rekindling that one!

Nice photos of the jays. I'll bet they were noisy, fussing at the dogs.

You have lots of bluejays. Nice shots of them too. We have only one and he doesn't come every day. Hugs

I don't think we have them in my area. At least I have never seen one if we do. They are very pretty.
