Brrr cold weather has hit Texas.....
a few snow flurries in the area...
nothing stuck of course...
we were too hot for too long...
these photos were taken on little saturday road trip...
around my town....
I love the way the water makes the stones different colors...
I finished another Christmas project today...
feels good to get things marked off the list...
now I'm on the hunt for bowls...
red...green...gold...or silver
for our yummy Christmas eve dinner...
I have the plates...the desert plates...
but need splashes of color with the bowls...
I haven't put up one decoration yet...
but I'm really getting the spirit...
singing Christmas songs with little britches...
reading Christmas books...
coloring Christmas coloring sheets...
reading blogs full of Christmas cheer...
seeing really cool crafts I want to try...
watching Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer with little britches...
seeing his expressions...
his favorite charachter is the snowman Sam...
You have to love Burl Ives...
Today I'm joining Watery Wednesday

glad to hear you're getting into the spirit! yay! :)
I too have not done anything except bring down an little tree I have decided to use this year instead of the big one.
Maybe you have inspired me to get into the spirit of the season.
Love

those posts have very nice textures, the rain makes it look like polyurethane painted finish.

Children make Christmas so much fun. I'm finished decorating, now to start baking.
Cold here this morning!
beautiful colors in that first shot, like a rainbow on stone. glad the "spirit" has hit you and i am sure LB is the cause of all your Happy Christmas feelings. children make Christmas so much fun
I am calling by as another Watery Wednesday participant. Very interesting colours on the stone.
It's especially a fun time of year when you can share it with kids. :) Speaking of kids, Munchies loves the ladybugs at the top of your blog and starts pointing and saying, "lay-buck!" when she sees them.
Beautiful photos! I was wondering if you had altered them--but after reading the post, I'm guessing, not!
I did a lot of house decorating today but am not finished.
It IS the season!! Have you heard Christmas carols on the radio? I haven't yet. Normally I listen to 101.1 classical radio. Just normal music so far. I have a ton of CD's so I put 5 at a time on the player and then change to another 5 the next day.
As always....I love your photos!
I do like these ones.
