I hope everyone is enjoying the last few days
before Christmas.....

taking a little time to relax...
enjoy the process....
remember it is the thought that counts...
not the price that is paid....
call up someone out of the blue...
tell them how much they mean to you...
drop them a note in the mail...
send a text...
leave a card for your mailman...
slip a candy cane in with your deposit
at the bank...
smile at the Momma with kids tugging on her leg..
wave at your neighbor...
leave a secret gift on the front door step...
turn up the christmas music...
sing like no one is listening...
or dance like now one is watching...
feel the joy of the season...
not the stress to be perfect....
no one remembers if your house was spotless...
if your hair was just right...
they remember the laughs...
the games you played...
the silly things the kiddos did....
the warmth and love from your heart...
Remember the reason for the season....

well, some of my gifts this year are thoughts only. :)

as a matter of fact, most of my greeting cards are thoughts, too! including yours! :)

I am with TexWis Girl. My gifts are mostly thoughts this year, too. DH and I decided there was nothing we wanted, so we are not buying each other anything. We will have the Dirty Santa gift exchange on C. Eve, so we will each get to open one gift. It will be fun!

AMEN!!! We all too often get caught up on the monetary value of a gift......
When will we ever learn it truly IS the thought that counts??? And once learned.....why do we not ALWAYS remember this valuable truth?
