Twelve days till Christmas...

Twelve days till Christmas....
Do I have any decorations up?
That would be a big fat no....
Do I have all my business Christmas cards mailed?
That would be another big fat no...

Do I have my personal cards mailed out??
yes...
Do I have my Angels finished for the nursing home?
yes....
Do I have my Christmas shopping done??
yes...

I have the menu planned for our Christmas Eve dinner...
Hubby is cooking Chili and hotwater cornbread...
My Mom is doing a chicken stew...
I found the bowls I wanted to make a festive table...

This weekend I'm going to spend the day with my Dad...
The whole family will be going to the annual Christmas
dance show...this year it will be at the country club...
instead of the dance studio...really looking forward to both...
Hubby and I are enjoying the new TV...
boy they have come along way with those big old screens..
when little britches walked in he said WOOWWW....
met his approval...Elmo looks good on that screen...
Today I'm joining Watery Wednesday

yeah, can't beat the new skinny hi-def flat screens. :)

don't worry about the decorations! family, food, togetherness, that's what matters!

Holy Moly! 12 days!!! I'd better get busy! I'm just tonight working on my Christmas cards. We're doing Mexican food for Christmas day with about 40 of us here. Thanks, friend, for the heads up! You're not alone.

Thank goodness there were some Yes's in this post. hahaha
My kids would love to be coming to your Christmas dinner because I don't think their wild about turkey since some them had it for Thanksgiving. But Christi and I had ham so we want the Turkey. Probably end up doing a roast too.
Hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
Love
Maggie

Beautiful bridge. Your Christmas Eve dinner sounds wonderful. Out of town gifts & cards are done, finally. Will be working on my tree for several day. Then I need to wrap presents and wrap gifts.
I am done shopping.
