Daddy and Hotrod...

there is nothing more special...
than watching your Son...with his Son....

this was Hotrods first time to a lake...
when they got to the lake his eyes were big as saucers...
and he said BATH....
we all had to laugh....

they have such a special bond...
my Son and Hotrod...
my Son is so patient with him...
when he corrects him he never raises his voice...
he just speaks in a low voice...
very firm...very loving....

I love sitting back and watching the too of them together...
brings back so many memories...
I remember when my son had his first experience...
at the lake...in the water...with his Daddy....

my two favorite boys...

I love this post. And I know what you mean, looking at your children with their children. Amazing isn't it!

Such precious moments... Recorded, for years to come. Lovely.

Last pic is marvelous, with capturing the water dropletes.

Ahhh yes, the teaching of one-picks-up-one's-mess. (Your comment in my blog) If the care-giver has the backing of at-home-life... And all have similar views, it is much easier.

I'm not care-giver, now. But regardless, "Grands" follow my rules, in my house.

What is so sad is, that consistency is the perfect learning tool. They need SOME rules. They need the security, it gives them. But those rules must be the same, in day-care and at home.

Just "Auntie saying", of course!!!!!

"Auntie's Skirts

Whenever Auntie moves around,
Her dresses make a curious sound,
They trail behind her up the floor,
And trundle after through the door."

Great pictures, Deb. It is wonderful to see our kids being good parents. I had similar feeling when I watched my son coach his 6 yr old's first baseball game last night.

That is just too precious of your son and Hotrod! Nothing like an experience at the lake with daddy! Adorable.
