The Dallas skyline has changed over the years....
we have a lot of new buildings...

we have a lot of old buildings too...

I like to look at all the buildings...
but so happy I don't have to go there everyday...
like the saying goes...
a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there...

The Reunion ball has been there since I was in high school...
but I have never been there...
it's funny how many local sights we never even go to...

big glass buildings are fun to look at now and then...
but I prefer old buildings with there simple designs...
there uniqueness (is that a word?)
Give me a worn out barn...or a faded house anyday...
how about you....are you a big city person?
or a country person?

Great shots of Dallas.
I have to admit it is one city I get lost in more than any other.
Hope all is well with you

I love to look at them, but don't want to have to drive through any big city...HATE, HATE, HATE it!

I was in Dallas once many moons ago for a five-day hotel sales director meeting. After a long flight all alone, I arrived in Dallas at 5:00 a.m. and had to be at a 9:00 a.m. meeting. Did not get to see too much as I spent all day in meetings/classes.

I am a country girl for sure.

Interesting skyline shots and post. I have done the city, but I think the country is really the American dream.

I am a small city person. No biggggg buildings or a sky-line. :-)

Lots and lots of old Victorian buildings, which are being kept up.

WE LOVE IT TO PIECES. But you know that, from reading my blog. :-)

And mentioning area sites, which you/we have not seen... Aren't we all that way? I was saying the other day... Instead of my whining about no longer being able to hop in the car and travel here and there...... I should set up a plan, of area things to visit. And we make sure we do so, this summer!!!!! :-)

Enjoyed seeing the buildings. It is true that we often don't visit local attractions in our area.

Nice shots of the skyline. I go thru Dallas like maybe once a year when I travel down I-35. So what is the Reunion Ball?
I'm like you I really like the looks of the old buildings, barns, churchs whatever. I like more stones and windows verses all the glass.
