Oma's worry....

Memorial Day weekend...
don't forget to remember all the men...
and women who have given their lives...
so we can live safe in this wonderful country....
the families that have lost loved ones...
the men and women that continue to serve...
365 days a year...the sacrafices they and their families make to keep us safe...
say thank you..say a prayer...
fly a flag....
it is the big kick off to summer...
please drive safe if your traveling...
leave your phones in your purse or pocket...
texting...and messaging can wait..
it could be your or my life that you save...
if you over indulge with adult beverages...
call a friend..call a taxi....walk....
please don't drive...
protect your skin from the sun...
wear sunscreen...wear a hat...
find shade....reapply sunscreen often...
it washes off in the water...
or when you sweat...
if your building a fire...especially here in Texas..
becareful...one spark can cause a lot of damage...
if your at the lake or pool....
keep track of the kiddos...make sure someone
knows where they all are at all times...
keep hydrated....
make sure pets have a place to stay cool...
plenty of water to drink...
have fun....be safe....
Oma's worry....want all her chicks to be safe...
