It rained all day on Monday...
This is the Tuesday sunrise...
a very welcome sight....
I found this cute little book for my Western baby shower...
and this cute little pony...
I'm having to keep it up high...
for some reason my schnauzer Nolan wants it really bad...
went for a walk on saturday...
thought I'd share a few things I saw on the way...
does this say Spring or what...
pretty pink blooms...
oh and these yellow blossums...
I took a closer look...
they were fake flowers....
made me chuckle..
this mailbox looks like it has been around a while...
I just love this garage apartment....makes me think of Maine....
it was a nice sunny day on Saturday...
and I really enjoyed my walk...
Rained all day Monday...
but now the sun is shining once again....

Hi Deb,
I love your pics. The fake flowers are a hoot! I was fooled too! Glad you are having some sunny days. We're having some light snow from a coastal storm but no accumulations on the roadways thank goodness. I need to see grass again! Hugs, Loretta ps please say hello to mom for me!

I had to laugh about the fake flowers. A few years ago the same thing happened to us as we were taking a walk along our usual route. It took several days before I realized the flowers were staying really fresh for a reason, LOL!

Magnificent sunrise photo!!!!!!

Wow you are into Spring. :-) I still look out the window on snow. And taking a walk is not exactly 'in the cards' yet. First we have to be able to get down the driveway on foot, without *killing ourselves.* ,-)

But we do look forward to walking!!!

Those yellow blooms are too funny! I was just telling someone about all the plastic flowers Hubby's grandmother planted as she got to old to care for the real ones.

Well I am sure the fake flowers will be real ones soon since the sun is coming out and Spring is just around the corner. I hope you had fun in Vegas.

Loved all of your pictures Deb, the daffodils could have fooled me. We have had so much rain too and when the sun comes out I am so happy, i almost have to wear sun glasses inside.
Thank you for coming by and always encouraging me, you are such a blessing.
Hugs, Sue

I am so ready for spring! Your post reminded me that 2 of my neighbor friends used to put a plastic flower in one of my front beds in very early spring for a joke to cause me to think I have something blooming. I am not an artificial flower fan, so I always removed them when I noticed them. That may be why they quit doing it. Or, maybe they just got tired of it.
