Decisions....

sitting on the fence....
hmmm.....food ....water...
water wins....
I see food...
never mind...I see dogs...
Jake is waiting for him.....

we make decisions everyday...
some decisions come without us really thinking..
others take time...prayer...reasoning...
sometimes we are effected by others decisions...
sometimes others are effected by ours...
I'm not jumping on the Oprah bandwagon...
but don't text and drive...
our city lost a 21 year old girl recently...
she was texting....
pull over...get off the road....
PLEASE DON'T TEXT AND DRIVE...
okay I'm off my soap box....
What do you think?

I'm with you Deb! It's just not worth it! Not being an Oprah fan, it took me a while to hear about the pledge thing going on. But I have seen the case on the news about the 21 year old (we're in the Dallas area too), and it just makes no sense to risk your life, or the life of others, to talk on the phone or send a text message! There's nothing more important than LIFE. Pull over, or make the call when you get there or before you leave. We did it for YEARS and years before cell phones, so it can be done! I don't see how anyone, other than the President of the US, can have anything THAT important to talk about all the time!

Just my two cents of course, lol!

I didn't know about the Oprah pledge, but it just makes sense. I am so sorry about that young girl. So sad.

Ok, Mom! Now that I've had a good spanking, I can say that I agree. Really. I don't know how many times I've told my kids not to do that. I heard somewhere that in five seconds, a car can travel 500 yards, making enough time for anything to happen while the driver is looking down to text.
I didn't see the show, but I'm sure it has had a good impact of folks that watched it.

I do agree with you Deb. Don't see Oprah here in UK (not at the moment anyway) but we do have some horror stories here too. What a waste of a young life - why don't they listen - where is their common sense! A x
