More wild west Baby Shower...

these were my daughters boots...
so I used them for decorations...
a little horsey I couldn't pass up...
the nursery will be a western theme...
for the party favors...
I took a photo of my daughter in laws round tummy...
and took out all the color....had prints made for everyone..
put a label on the back with her name...
Wild West Baby shower and the date...
then added some candy....everyone loved them...
cut up a old pair of jeans to tie with....
my daughter put the bags together for me...
his 1st pair of boots...
my best friend from highschool gave him these...
her 1st gift was from the baby....
a Mother's day gift...(well you know...
I helped a little bit) a mug filled with snickers...
Mom to be's favorites right now...
my Mom enjoying the shower...
she even wore her 6 shooter....
(Thanks Mom for all your help)
this was the little corsage I made her...
unfortunately it was too much for the dress she wore...
every little boy needs a stick horse...
he whineys too...my Mom found him at BigLots...
I had to keep him hid from my Schnauzer Nolan...
he thought it was a new baby for him...
added the bandana to dress him up....
my wonderful hubby and his smoker....
cooked the brisket....and chicken...
made an extra brisket and ribs for Mother's Day...
still didn't get a good smile out of him...
oh well...the man was cooking meat...
no time for smiles....
every baby needs a sock monkey...
my daughter (the Auntie) got it for him..
We played games....
Baby Trivia..
Fill in the Nursery Rhyme...
and a easy word search..
we had it at the Dance Studio that my
daughter started dancing at at the age of 2..
and now is a Dance teacher there...
was the perfect place for a shower...

Well, of course it's a Texas shower! Looks like she had a wonderful time collecting things for the baby.
Rick wouldn't even let me take his picture on Sunday afternoon at the grill. It was a chilly day to be grilling, but the wings and ribs we had were outstanding. Was a happy day nonetheless. Glad yours was, too.

That was really a cute idea for your daughter's baby shower! Western! Texas! What else!

She looks so happy and I know your family is all so excited. Your hubby isn't NOT smiling - he's just so excited about the baby that he's speechless - he's in a haze - see that deer in the headlights look? haha!
