Wild West Baby Shower...

Welcome to the Wild West baby shower...
come on in...
the gift table...
she got so many nice gifts...
BBQ dinner (requested by the Mother to be)
a view of the tables...

my Mom made cornbread muffins..

cowboy and indian cupcakes...
and a candy bar....

fruit....lemon cupcakes...and the sister of the mother to be...
brought a cute little cake...

come on in an fix you a plate...
brisket..chicken...pinto beans...
(all made by my sweet hubby)

cucumber cactus center pieces...
(the sand came from a visit to White Sands in New Mexico years ago)

on of the tables you can sit at....

playing games....

I gave my daughter in law my sons coonskin cap...
bull horn...and wooden rubber band gun....

opening gifts....
it was such a fun time....

Great idea for a baby shower! I love he cucumber cactus! What a fun way to spend the day! Was the shower on Mother's Day? Hugs

What a darling shower!!! Looks like I missed a great time!!! I also love the cuke cactus...I wonder if I could use corn meal instead of sand?...I think the mom 2 B was right to request B-B-Q...in our house we say there is no such thing as bad B-B-Q...A meal of B-B-Q is better than the best of anything else!!!

Looks like such fun! The food & desserts looked delicious! I must admit I thought the "little pardner" by the gift table was a wee one until I saw him standing in the same place in another photo! Adorable!

What a sweet theme for a baby shower. I thought the gift of your son's cap and gun were so sweet! How fun it will be for you to see another little fella wearing the cap. P.S. All that food made me hungry!
