I love dove...
love to hear their call...
it is so peaceful and sweet...
love to watch them at the feeder...
for the most part they are very friendly and easy going...
you rarely see a feather ruffled with them...
49 years ago today Texas had a snow storm...
so glad it is not a repeat today....
49 years ago today a 15 year old girl gave birth to a baby girl...

Please tell me how one can tell the difference between doves and pigeons? Someone please! I don't care for pigeons, because of the disease their droppings can carry. Doves are lovely. Their sound is peaceful and beautiful.
But....... How to easily tell the difference between the two?????

Doves and pigeons are basically the same, I think.
Funny, ya know, how the li'l buggers "squeak" when the fly off.
I love to hear their mournful cries in the mornings and evenings.
I love Doves too. Love to wake up in the morning too their coos!
