These little buggers fly under the radar. We see them all the time, but usually our attention is focused on the bigger and flashier birds. Nice shots of some old friends!
Very nice bird shots. Sparrows once were our most populated species but the finches are way ahead of them now. I love sparrows too, but then I love all birds. Hugs
Love the sparrows! Reminds me of the Bible verse that says we are of more value than many sparrows. I have LOTS of cardinals, too, watch them out my kitchen window everyday. Great pictures, Deb! Have a great week.
The sparrows are like the bread and butter of a bird feeder. We can always count on them to show up and bring a smile. It's the rare visitors to our bird feeder that add the bit of flavor, like marmalade on toast.

I love my little feathered friends....they are so amazing to watch.
Great shots!
I adore sparrows too. So much spunk and cuteness! :)
Did you see Farmchick's post today over at It's a Small Town Life? Want to make sure you did!!!
They are SO cute! I love birds at my feeders. I can waste so much time watching them!
Too cute!! Tweet day to you, too!
I love the pic of the sparrow gathering nesting material.....what a chore to have to re-build your house every year.
Sparrows are always the 1st at my feeders too. And they fight over it! lol

I don't think sparrows get much P.R. ,-) Other birds are flashier and etc. Poor little sparrows, just kind of small and brown.
But they are sweet!
Thank you for calling our attention to them!!! :-)
