she was really fast...and busy...
it took alot of missed shots before I got a few decent ones...
and then she flew away....hope she comes back to visit soon..

I rarely see a woodpecker of any kind here. You got some great shots of this one.
Glad you have one!!! Perhaps her mate is nearby! I love the woodpeckers! Ours come to the feeder....both male and female.

She's a pretty one. We don't see them in our yard, but I like watching for them in the woods.
