Happy Tuesday...

Sunday I was able to take Ladybug for a spin.....
she sure rides smooth....but she is a regular bicycle...
no gears...so you get quite the work out on the hills...
it was fun with the wind blowing in my hair...

we've had some spring weather lately...
thunderstorms....lightning...pea sized hail...
my prayers go out to the people of Joplin Missouri...

the mushrooms are really enjoying the weather...
Do you remember in the 70's when mushrooms were popular decorations?
knick knacks....artwork....dishtowels...calenders....

the weather has been good for the gardens though..
my cantelope it really taking off...
I ate my first tomato last night...it was a small Roma...
sure was good...

I'm looking forward to American Idol tonight....
I really like Scotty and Lauren...
they both seem like good kids...
They are both winners in my book...

they are calling for more thunderstorms late afternoon...
I hope they take it easy on everyone...
Happy Tuesday....
what was your favorite subject in highschool?
Mine was English...
I loved diagramming sentences...
nuts huh?

Cool catch! Lightening photo!

Hooray for riding 'Lady Bug.' :-)

Yes, I remember mushroom/toad stool knick knacks, etc. But I'm afraid some of that stuff, is still popular. In garden decorations. -giggles-

wow! great lightning shot! (and of course, the squirrel!)

i loved English and Art and Business and Accounting and Math. did NOT take to geography, social studies or science. History was somewhere in the middle, but i thought memorizing dates, etc. was rather pointless...

Great pictures! I liked English too and Science. I despised Math so it's sort of ironic that I ended up in Accounting as a career.

Look out for the storms today.

I was a total math and band (flute) nerd, lol. I liked sentence diagramming though, because it's logical - same reason I like working oxidation-reduction equations in science 8)

Great photo of the lightning!
We've been getting a lot of rain here, too. It's good for the crops, but I'm looking forward to some sunny days...

Some of my best childhood memories was riding my bike. Someday I'd love to ride again.

That's a scary and beautiful picture of the lightning.

My favorite subject was English....

Good to hear you were able to take a spin on your ladybug bike.

We had storms last night again so not much sleeping here. My prayers are also with the people of Joplin. Bless them all!

Cantaloupe, yum yum sounds so good and your plants are looking great.

I totally agree with you on American Idol. They will both have careers too no matter which one wins. I love them both.

Stay safe! Will be looking forward to your next post. Hugs

Oh, I forgot. It depends on what year it was...some years math was my favorite subject and other years it was English.

I was just telling my kids about my mushroom collection of nik naks back in the 70's! Wow, how did you capture the lightning shot?
Awesome.

Wonderful photos, especially the lightning and the squirrel. Wow!
Sure wish we could have some of that rain here. All we have is wind and sunshine every day. I've put off my garden because it's so dry and windy. And today it was only 55 degrees. Brrr!

The mushroom comment made me laugh as my parents had a kitchen filled with mushrooms and owls. And the colors of the appliances were avocado green with the same color wallpaper mixed with brown on the mushroom and owl print. lol!

And our living room had a green velvet sofa with matching lamps, dangling fake green diamonds. And then there was a black velvet painting of a bull fighter on the wall.

Groovy man!

lol!
