we here so much about all the terrible things going on in the world...
high prices...angry people...etc..
but you know what I have noticed also...
there are some really good changes going on also...

especially in the younger generation....
they are active in the community.... they volunteer...
but you know what else I noticed...
Daddy's are actually helping raise the kiddos...
I mean they are in the delivery room...
they change diapers...do feeding...dress...bathe...
take the kiddos to their activities...
what a blessing for todays little ones...
to have both parents active in their lives...
Hubby and I went to lunch the other day....
and we saw so many Daddy's with their little ones in tow...
I think I was the only female in the place for a while (expect for employees)
it was just great to see....
When I was growing up Dads didn't take a real active role usually...
oh sure the camping trip on occassion or help build a dog house...
but actual day to day reading stories...giving baths...
that was left up to the Mom's...

my Son with Little Britches....
my Brother with my niece...
my BIL with my nieces...
the relationship my hubby has with our two...
If you stop and look at the small things around you...
you see so much more....
things might just be better than they seem...
people are becoming more consevative again...
reusing....recycling...reducing....
hmmmm......could be a blessing in disguise....

Beautiful sentiments, sometimes we do get lost in all the negative in the world, but it is still quite beautiful ... and wondrous things are all around us. Happy Mother's Day!

Great way to look at the positive side! My husband was very helpful with our daughter when she was growing up and I think they have a stronger relationship because of it!

I agree, there are some good things going on in our world, and the bigger role fathers take is one of the important ones. I love seeing my son and son-in-law interact with their kids.

I agree! My sister's maternity leave just ended and my BIL is taking family leave for a while to be home with my niece. He's into anything with wheels and she's already been to the parts store with him. I'm sure her first words will be something like "spark plug" instead of momma or dada!
