It was 99 100 degrees here in Texas today.....
another record day...
the cool front is headed our way...
it starting lightning around 9:00 pm...
then the winds really kicked up....
we got a heavy rain storm...
it only lasted about 10- 15 minutes...
but hey rain is rain....right...
The Texas Rangers are in the playoffs...
an awesome thing for us Texans...
two years in a row....
The State Fair of Texas opens this weekend...
this week has flown by...
can't believe tomorrow is already Friday...
guess I better get busy deciding what to do this weekend...

I loved it..
what is better than Brad Pitt and baseball all in one movie...
I love baseball movies...
seeing Brad Pitt just makes it a little better....

I wondered if that would be a good movie. My husband is not a movie goer and I just told him today we needed a date night. He'll go to the movie but only for me!

we hit 100 yesterday! one last time for day #71!!! ugh! we only got about a minute of rain last night after all the lightening. oh well.
I've been wondering about that movie... I saw him in an interview where he said he couldn't believe they let him play that part cuz he doesn't know anything about baseball... he wrestled & played some other sport when he was younger, but never baseball. Gotta love Brad Pitt, tho... LoL! =)

Oh that heat!! We had -4 the other night... Its getting down right cold here!! Although today we are suppose to get up in the high 20's.... Have a great weekend!

100???? No! Not again! Lucky me....we missed it by being in San Marcos but we did leave our cat at home! I never dreamed it would get so hot! I am sure she has cooled off by now. It stormed down here, too. ALL of Texas needs rain! AND cooler temps!

Glad you got some rain. We had zilch. But, it was cool this morning in Canton and we enjoyed it while it lasted. I think that movie looks good, too!
