More Chinese lanterns....

 a wishing tree...
people wrote their wishes...
hung them on the tree...

 we are celebrating around here...
Hotrod has gone poop in the potty several times now...
sorry if this is too much information...
but we are just too excited not to share...
would not be Texas without a longhorn...
even at a Chinese festival...Texas shines through...

trying to get back on track after the holidays...
it's hard to remember what day of the week it is...
hopefully this weekend I will get to get all caught up again..
My SIL is in from Washington...so hopefully we will
get a chance to spend some time with her...
My DIL started a new job this week....
so very excited for her...
hopefully Monday Hotrod and I can get back
to our normal schedule again....
I have been able to get to the gym...
walking on the treadmill clears my head...
with the not so nice weather we are having...it helps...
the sun is out today but it is sooo cold...
not compared to you Snowbunnies but for Texas yes...
snow flurries in the morning....
hope this means we won't have a February or March ice storm...
it won't stick...so I'm happy for that....
Are you getting back to normal??
or are you still on holiday time???

I'm not sure live ever gotten to normal, so I'm not sure if I've gotten back there yet! Those lanterns just fascinate me! And since I'm going to spend the weekend with our DIL and our 2 1/2 year old grandson and his baby brother, I have to say, I hope my boy is going poop on the potty! But I'm not holding my breath!

Hooray for Hotrod! And hooray for you and Mommy too! This is a big step, and each child is different. But you and Mommy are consistent and relaxed. Best for kiddies, me'thinks.

And hooray for the other good news, around your neck of the woods. :-)

Oh those Chinese Lanterns! Simply fantastic.

I don't think there is a normal for me or around my place. lol Love the wishing tree and that big beautiful butterfly. Chicago has nothing on you all when it comes to exciting and fun things to see and photograph. Hugs
