I asked Hotrod if he wanted to play in his pool...
he said No Oma...I want to play with buckets of water...
so that's what we did....

filled up buckets of water...
he decided he wanted to get in the big one...

we pulled out buckets...containers...
spoons...funnels...
our own little water park....
of course....cars are always involved...

Rooster always gets in on the action...
if water...or balls or involved...
Rooster is right there...
He loves Hotrod...and vice versa...

wouldn't you love to get in the head of a little boy...
all the energy...ideas...in their heads..

Ginger....such a silly...sweet girl...

after a long hard week....
sitting watching Hotrod with his water fun...
was just what I needed...
the things that were stressing me out...
just seemed not so important...

Boys and Dogs...
what more can you ask for...
"Come on Hotrod...throw the ball"

"PLEEEZZZZZEEE'

He decided to put all the buckets into the Big Bucket....

Rooster was plum tuckered out....
I know the feeling Rooster....

the way Rooster looks in the last shot is how i feel today... i love these shots in the bucket of water.. we used to sit in wash tubs, this looks even better. having one to sit in and one to play in... 2 living breathing adorable stress relievers.

Hey. Any port in the storm if it keeps a child happy. :)

I might fill up one for myself. 113 here today.

Isn't that fun Deb!
Such cute pics you have there.
I let Addison play in water too, especially when she is feeling bored.
It sure is fun for them!
Hugs,
Cindy
