I couldn't imagine having to plow like they did way back when...
a very tough chore...

I know I've been calling on you all for prayers a lot lately...
My Uncle Tom is going in for major surgery...
he has an abscess on a muscle close to his appendix...
the Dr. believes it is from a accident he had with his horse
a few years ago...he was pretty banged up...
and the saddle horn hit him in that area...
he's a tough character...prayers would be appreciated...

Hotrod likes my finds from the Goodwill...
the parking garage for his cars a big hit...
we have started a candy land game...
I think it will take us a while to finish it...

I have a ladybug story...
Hotrod has a ladybug beanie baby...it was my daughters...
I was asking him what he wanted to name it...
He's really into naming things right now...
I told him how my Nana was my ladybug...
and her name was Edna...
he decided Edna was the perfect name for his ladybug...
when we were at the sprinkle park...
they have a ladybug painted on the ground...
water is suppose to shoot up from it...
it wasn't working...
Hotrod said Oma...why isn't Edna working?...
it took me a second to realize he was talking about the ladybug...
a few minutes later...he put his little batman 3 wheeler
next to the ladybug...I asked him what he was doing...
he said...He's watching over Edna..since she's broken...
"Oma...does she need her batteries changed???"
I love the minds of 3 year old boys...
Batman had to sit next to Edna until time for us to go....
