Why I love my neighborhood....

I love walking in my neighborhood...
I live in the city...but can see lot's of rural things...
a red tractor....

a windmill....

pet a horse...

watch a horse eat....

see a creek....

that is why I love my neighborhood....

I love being out in the country, Lucky you! I love how peaceful it is when out to the ranch, which is not often enough.

Have a great day!

There isn't much of NZ that is urban and I love that part of being here.

Always enjoyed our area as it's close to schools (when the children were growing up) and close to shops - but Johannesburg has become so very vast and there are thousands of townhouses and cluster houses going up all the time .. means more and more people .. more and more children .. our schools are overflowing, infrastructure can't cope etc etc ... maybe it's time to move .. or think about moving in a few years time!
Thanks for your recent comment and well wishes - one day I'm 'up' next day I'm 'down' so went to doctor today as my blood pressure is not constant - that could be the key to the whole problem (I hope so!) - he has now changed the blood pressure tablets so we shall see what happens once my system gets used to these!

I live in the city too but where I liver, we do have some open areas since a river once flowed through the middle of our city, we have a wide, dry riverbed most of the year. They cannot build in or near it though because when we have heavy rains in January, the river flows for a few days.
