depending on when you read this....

it is 89 degrees at 6 am...
31 days in a row of 100 or above....

if your living in the heat wave....
be sure to keep an eye on your pets...
check on your elderly neighbors....
change your filters regulary on your A/C unit...
better air flow will help your unit run better...
keep hydrated.....
listen to your body....
stay safe....
for heaven sakes don't leave kids or pets
in a parked car.....
even for a few minutes to run in a store...

thank you.....

Animals cannot stand that kindof heat either! We do not have dark colored pigeons like that 'round here.

SOSOSOSOSOSO HOT!! It was not THIS hot in Houston! Even with the humidity! You can SEE the grass and plants drying up in front of our eyes! We left Houston at 4:30 this morning and were home by 11. TOO hot to be driving during the heat of the day!

Good reminders about kids and pets. Seems that someone always forgets in a heat wave and something terrible happens.
Wow, that extended period of heat must be awful. Thank goodness for air conditioning.

I heard it was extremely hot from my niece who lives in Dallas. Love the photos!!! I see a difference in your photography - it's clear and very good - well done! Have you got a new camera or, like me, trying new things! What camera do you use? I would love to upgrade now.

LOL!! I love your bird anchor talk :) Great job and advice. I will definitely need it this week. We are in an excessive heat warning until Friday! At noon today it was already 108 and rising. Hope you stay cool & hydrated _B
