Thank you everyone for the Birthday wishes to my Aunt Rachel...
I found a recipe for homemade laundry soap...
at Moobery Farm...this is an awesome blog...
only problem is she still has that pesky comment verification...
so I visit but don't always comment...
well I passed the recipe on to my Mom...
she whipped us up a batch...
I did a load of laundry with it today...
wow...it is awesome...my clothes smell fresh...
they feel soft...no fabric softener needed...
I am impressed...Thank you Mom...
I love having my Mom retired....
she is a ball of fire...
just getting project after project done...

She also made us dish scrubbers from the same blog...
she got the onion bag for free at her grocery store...
she had the yarn on hand...
so our scrubbies didn't cost a thing...
With the high cost of everything today....
it is nice to find low cost everyday items...
I've found recipes for homemade antibacterial soap...
hand sanitizer....dish soap...
who knows we might not have to buy soap anymore...

winter temps are back in Texas...
for a few days anyways....
The zoo will have to wait a few more weeks...
we are getting rain...so I won't complain...
too much anyways...
Today I'm joining This of That Thursday...

I have cousins who make their own soap and I have thought of it. Wish I had someone to make it for me...you are so blessed to have your mom near by and the two of you get to share and spend time together. Maybe one day I will get brave enough to try making soap. Hugs
