I took these at the park the other day...

I don't know which is better...
sunrise or sunset...
they both have special meanings...
the start of a new day...
or the end of a great day....

sending prayers out to all the tornado victims...
yesterday was quite a day for them...
at one point heard there were 67 spotted in 11 states...

mother nature can be so beautiful...
she can also cause a lot of destruction...

I'm hoping all my blog pals are safe and sound...
and able to enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature...

Loving the orange-y haze you captured, Deb. Lovely.

Gorgeous, I love the first one with the sun streaming through the tangle of branches.

Mother has really caused some misery this week, hopefully it is over for awhile.

Such a sad situation with all those tornadoes. They have gone both north and south of us- just out of our area both times. Scary!
Beautiful shots this morning.

stunning photos, so gorgeous. i have been watching CNN coverage of the storms today and now they say 95 tornados and 372 storms of high winds. the devastation has my eyes full of tears. the one in West Liberty KY was only a few miles from where i spent my happy childhood and breaks my heart, the whole town is gone, the bank, the stores, schools, and that town served the whole county.

Simply beautiful...

And no fixin'-up. Nice.

Yes, like all this in the Universe, Nature can be both lovely and horrid.
