there's not a lot blooming right now...
but these morning glories still hang on...
it has been a hot weekend...
but it is August...it is Texas...
that's what we do HOT.....

I've been able to spend a lot of time this weekend with my Hotrod...
My DIL's sister is getting married...so she has been helping...
that means more time for Oma and Hotrod...
since my guys had to work all weekend...

even with the heat...we manage to have fun...
we went to the sprinkle park this morning...
we had it to ourselves for about 20 minutes...
then others showed up....all boys today....
another little boy just a month younger than Hotrod...
it is amazing how many 2 year olds there are these days...

we layed on Oma's big bed and watched Mickey Mouse...
that was nice...a little rest time...then back at it again...
Now it's time for Oma to get caught up with all her blog pals...
Hope you are having a great weekend...

your glories are gorgeous! love that tight twist in the last shot. i lost one of our little sprouts but had one remaining. the grasshoppers took it down to nubs, then it came back, but now, i think, the bunnies have chomped on it. one little sprig w/ 2 leaves are still there. *sigh*

We had another really serious storm last night....it's always a relief to know I can hold off on watering the garden for a couple of days. But, the weeds are going crazy! :-( Hope you get some rain soon!
