Friday....a new day...

big weather changes here in Texas....
we had quite the storm blow through yesterday...
lot's of limbs...power lines down...
we dropped 20 degrees in 30 minutes...
A nice rain also...
 before the rain...
the birds were taking a nice bath...
we had the driest September on record...

a lot of people are still with out power...
we were very lucky...only a flicker...
a lot of schools and business' are closed...
we also have the Ebola scare in our area...

100 or more people may have been exposed...
so far they have quarantined 18 the last I heard...
lot's of hand washing going on...

it is all very unsettling...
it also makes you stop and think...
a plan of action to protect your loved ones...
is definitely on every one's minds...
it never hurts to be on the safe side...
stocking up on safety items is never a bad idea...

this ebola is really scary.. glad you got rain but sorry the way you got it. we saw all the damage by the wind in the middle of the state, we hd the wettest sept on record...feast or famine... drought or floods...stay safe.

My son just got his power back tonight! The damage in Arlington was extensive! I cleaned up our deck and front yard....still have the driveway to do!
