Christmas is over...
there's still a few reminders here and there...
most of my decorations are packed up...
just not quite put up yet...
the tree is down...
always a little sad...
The new year is full of promise...
just waiting for new memories to make and share...
Stingbean and I are enjoying the last
days of his Christmas vacation...
yesterday we went for a walk in the neighborhood...
gathering up nature that caught our eye...
leaves...sticks...acorns...an abandoned wasp nest...
we filled up our paper grocery sack...
after lunch we got out the hot glue gun and our imagination..

Aunt and Uncle with their little guys...
the little one had a blurry hand...
so I covered it up with a heart...
the rest of the photo was too good to pass up...
Family is what it is all about....

A few Christmas decorations are lingering around my house as well. *sigh* I need to get busy!
