I love photography....
I want to learn more....
the only way to do that is to take more photos...
I know some people would say how in the world
could she possibly take any more photos than she already does???
I've never had any formal training...
it's just trial and error...
boy have I had lots of errors...
thank goodness for digital...erasing is great...
I've been calling on my friends and family...
I've known Jamie since high school...
she is also a member of our Fun Girls group...
and my Insurance agent...
she is such a treasure...
one of the most talented ladies I know...
we had a nice session this morning...
she was so very patient with me while I tried different things...
she also had great ideas of her own...
my goal this year is to take photos of
as many people as I can...
all ages...male...female...
learn how to get the best angles and lighting for each person...
and I get to spend one on one time with special people...
I think this is my favorite one...
it shows her true personality...

than a boy and his dog...

so only had one slacker today....
Friday was such a great day...
what a privilege to watch the Inauguration
of our 45th President...
A Historical day....
I have been behind President Trump from the beginning...
owning a business for 26 years...
I've seen we need someone running our country
that has business sense...
the politicians we have had running our country
for years have done nothing but dig us deeper
in debt...and line their pockets...
Time to put America first...
jobs for America...products from American workers...
We also need to stop all this if you don't agree with my politics or my ideas...my faith...
I'm going to scream obscenities at you...
burn down the city...
or not be your friend...
Your color...size...age...political beliefs...religion
do not make me judge you....
your actions do...
we can always agree to disagree....

Jamie is beautiful - inside and out! I'm grateful I got to meet her through you! You really did capture her personality! She just can't hide that infectious smile and twinkle in her eyes!
I'm with you on the politics! Good grief! Can't we all act like adults? I feel the need to be HAPPY about who we elected as president! And I'm going to be just that! We can't let anyone steal our joy!
Taking people shots text lots of practice and learning for sure. I like your favorite of her too and I like the one by the old house. And I love the boy and his dog and of course fancy the chicken. One suggestion for hat for learning is to go to other photographer sites and look at what they do. When I first started taking photos and 2002 I spent a lot of time looking at the tography blogs just looking at their pictures
