Hi Deb,

I enjoyed meeting you through the summer party! I LOVE your glider swing....it just looks so comfy! I was born and raised in Houston and my parents still live there....so I'm still a Texan at heart!♥

Any room for me on that cozy glider of yours? I'll be right over! :)
It looks handmade, very rustic and unique. I like that.
I enjoyed reading all of your summer enjoyments.
Your pictures were fun, too.

I like many of the same things, but one of my other favorite things about summer up here in the mountains is being able to leave my windows open all summer long to receive the cool breezes.
Unlike our neighbors in Albuquerque, 5,000 ft below us, we rarely ever have to use our swamp coolers or A/C during the summer.

I do love the fresh scents of the outdoors, especially after a summer rain. Everything is washed clean, moist and cool with the scent of juniper, pinon and cedar.

Happy Summer!

I like PRE - summer. February, March and April, the months when it is only in the 80's and you can still go outside during the daytime! The pictures you posted are true Texas at its best.

Love that glider. That is a serious glider. I think you could nap on that one.

I love summer for the less structured schedule. A little more freedom. Also shorts and tanktops. :)

I love this post Deb! All of the reasons I love summer too, and I love the windchimes especially. Actually I love the water the best in July lol. Stop by if you get a chance, you've been tagged if you'd like to play along. Kathy

Oh how I miss our motorcycle this time of year! With three little kiddos $ was better spent somewhere else but it was fun! Thanks for sharing all these fun things about summer!

Great summer photos! It's such a wonderful time for enjoying the outdoors. I love it because the snow finally melts in the high country and we can go up and see all the wildflowers...
