Hi Deb...I've noticed the birds lately being kind of nervous, too. Wonder if they are predicting a change in the weather. Several folks I know keep their feeders full this time of year as there is not much for the birds on the cold hard ground.

I browsed around your blog and see that you have an early birthday present. Love that LadyBug Bike! So neat that your Dad fixed it up for you!

Thanks for your visits to CITexas Gal. I've been in and out the last few weeks and will be out again in a few days. So, I'm glad I stopped by to see ya and to catch up on what's happening in your part of Texas. Have a great week!

The other day we had mounds of blackbirds hidin' in the cedar trees. It was so awesome! As your would pass a tree the sky was darkened with the birds. I adore your pictures sweetie.

God bless ya and have an extraordinary way girl!!! :o)

I know it's part of Nature but... I still don't like it when hawks are *worrying* birds. -pout-

Yup, I'm wondering if the mice population has been cut down this winter so now the hawks are turning more to birds again. Or maybe it's just because the trees are bare and the hawks can catch 'em more easily. :)

We haven't had any black birds around our place this year. No hawks either and there are usually lots of hawks, I guess they have all moved down to your place for the winter.
