Great weekend...

we had a beautiful sunrise this morning...

it was the start to a wonderful day.....

we took a little road trip....
and the first thing I saw when we got to our property...
Indian Paint brushes....my all time favorite wildflowers....

the guys went to do a little target shooting...
and I went to do a little photo shooting....

Seeing them makes me smile...

ran across a ladybug...
another thing to make me smile....

it was a fun day.....
took thousands of photos...

we stopped for Mexican food on the way home...
It was such a great weekend...
a cook out with friends friday...
spent the day with little britches on saturday...
a beautiful wedding Saturday night....
and a fun road trip on Sunday....
I'm smiling all over....

hurray for paintbrushes! my favorite here as well!!!

did you get any of that horrible smoke in your area? the wildfires from west texas stuff... it was terribly thick here mid-day. you could see it, smell it, taste it. it definitely irritated my sinuses, throat and eyes (I ran into town but otherwise tried to stay out of it). YUCK!

Beautiful sunrise photos. We don't see Indian Paintbrush start blooming here until late May. Your flower photos are beautiful.

Love pics, into the sun!!!!!!!

Indian Paint Brush! Red Indian Paint Brush! I have always LOVED that toooooo! Really. I can remember, from being a kid, just loving to see them. Hardly see it anymore, around these parts.

Well, I guess I'd have to go out onto back roads, to find it. Mmmm, sounds like a nice thing to do. A Red Indian Paint Brush hunt!!! Must remember, when it's a bit later and it could be out!

Mmmm, could I please join both of you, on such a little trip? I mean, could I pullllllllleeeeeeeeeeze try my hand at target soooooooooting, with the guys?!?

And at pic taking too, of course. But! No fair! You have a Rebel and can shoot rings around me. I have camera *lust,* and bad! -giggles-

Gentle hugs,
.....♥.....
