Night Light Flight....

It was a beautiful night...
perfect for flying...

when we pulled in this plane was landing...

here's the plane we rode in...
click on the link to learn more about it..
it was once owned by the President of Mexico...
then a skydiving business...
before they purchased it and restored to it's original state..

we sat on the wing...
there were 15 people on board...
not including the flight crew...
the couple in front of us were celebrating his birthday also...
aren't they lucky to have such nice wifes..lol...
the pilots used a flash light to see there control panel...
they told us if we saw them running to the back of the plane...
to follow....quickly....lol..
don't you love pilot humor..
the lights were beautiful....

hubby posing.....he enjoyed his birthday present...

it was a smooth flight...the lights were beautiful...
it was cold...loud....but awesome...
well worth the wait...

this is the plane warming up...
they said it would smoke..
it did...
they said it was loud...
it was...
you can hear hubby talking...
I had on ear phones...couldn't hear a word he was saying...
it got a little bumpy as we were circling the cowboy stadium

pulling away from the hanger...

a view of Ft. Worth...

What a trip! I'm afraid that I'd be chicken to go up in that plane. But then I'm a chicken in a huge commercial plane. I'm just a big chicken!!! But I'm glad your husband enjoyed his present!

What an amazing experience! I think I would be a tad nervous due to the age of the plane -- an awesome birthday gift I'm sure your hubby will remember for years to come. :)

Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!

Makes me a wee little bit nostalgic for our old Cessna Skyhawk.
(8424LIMA) Of long, long ago.

We didn't fly it at night, but friends of ours did night flights, and took us on one.

Gentle hugs,
