Today I thought I would be posting about our flight...
in the wild blue yander...
but life doesn't always work out like you think...
or want it too...
Hubby and I took off for our great adventure...
the airport is about an hour away...
we got there early...since we weren't sure of exact location...
there was no one around the hanger...
I called the number to make sure we had the right place...
got a voice mail...
we decided to drive around for a few minutes and came back...
there was one elderly man there...
trying to get the hanger door latched...
we asked him about the flights...
he was new...only there doing computer work...
but said the plane was inside...
hubby helped him get the door latched...
we waited around for a while...
no one showed up...
so we headed to the Ft. Worth stockyards...
we went to dinner at Risky's Steakhouse...
we had a nice dinner...then headed back home...
I checked my Spam box ....
to make sure I didn't have a cancelation...
nope...
so I sent them an e-mail...
got up this morning...had a reply..
she said for some reason they didn't put us on the list...
so we have been rescheduled for tonight...
on a side note...I checked my camera battery...
it was fully charged...on the way there...
I took a few photos...my battery was showing low...
so maybe things worked out for the best anyway...
putting that battery on the charger as we speak...

glad it worked out and you still get to go. so you had two nights out, that is a good thing. one of my pet peeves is the fact my hubby is as handsome as he was and stays the same and I show my age daily. men seem to hold better than we do. we were married when he was 48 and he is now 75 and looks almost identical to what he did then. I DO NOT
