Weekend Reflections...

Today I'm joining Weekend Reflections

if you've never been by to visit...
you are missing out....
so many creative folks...

looks like we are having a beautiful weekend here in Texas....
I'm looking forward to getting loose with my camera...

the leaves are starting to change...
some years we go straight from green to none...

just wanted to say thank you again...
for all your nice comments....
for all your encouragement....
for all your well wishes during this hard time....
we are getting back to a normal routine...
I'm getting excited about Thanksgiving....
What is your favorite family tradition for Thanksgiving?
we have a new tradition we do our Christmas photo on Thanksgiving
we also draw names for Christmas...

I like the idea of drawing names and we actualy did that once. I find I buy fewer gifts each year concentrating on the grands and then 'couple' gifts for the parents. We all gather with my siblings and Mother = who is 86 - in Fort Worth. It is important to celebrate each year we have her. AFTER she is gone.....Louis Dean said it will be even MORE important to gather with the siblings!

Your pics are beautiful. I saw some beautiful color on my way down to Houston yesterday!

Lovely photos, per usual. :-)

Glad you are getting back to normal. Hugs...

My family finally (a few years ago) came around to the plan of.... Only gifts for children/grands. (Mostly...) ,-)

Gentle hugs,

Beautiful photos.... as usual!!

A family picture is a must on Thanksgiving.... and I give everyone a Christmas ornament for their tree...

Our newly married granddaughter has 21 angel ornaments that we started for her 21 years ago....

Hugs,
