Hotrod is making friends....
he walked up to these two girls...
grabbed one by the hand...then the other...
started leading them around...
we've never met these girls before...
they were very sweet to him..

he has really blossomed this summer...
of course I'm a little biased...
being his Oma....

last week we had a play date with my niece...
she is Hotrods second cousin...
she will be 2 in a few months...
Hotrod felt the need to take care of her...
such a big helper...

we are working really hard on the whole sharing...
not taking things from others...
using our please and thank you manners...
most of the time he does good...
sometimes it is a little harder...
seems like there are a lot of adults that never learned good manners..or sharing...

he loves going to the sprinkle park...
to story time at the library...
he gets to go twice a week...
at different libraries...
so he is getting to meet a variety of kiddos...
I've really been surprised at how many 2 years there are...
seems like there are several every where we go...

My youngest grandson is almost 2. He is pretty good with the please and thank you, but doesn't always get the sharing thing. it is fun to watch them learn these things.

What adorable pictures. The picture of Hotrod with the two girls is so sweet. I agree there are a lot of adults who do not practice manners and sharing. Hugs

What great pictures! And even GREATER is the SWEETNESS of the children together. Oh that they - and WE - would keep that childlike friendship and trust all our lives!

Ahhhh yes, the socializaton process. (Mmmm, yes I know that's not spelled right. Please sound it out? Please and thank you.)

You are in TX and to all blogging friends in TX, I am asking... Do you use bug repellant outside? Heard bad yahoo news piece about TX mosquitoes spreading West Nile Virus. Bleahhhh...

Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"
