I don't like to admit this...
but I haven't been watching the Olympics...
I know it sounds un-American...
but I've been watch something more exciting to me...

shadow dancing....
shadow marching.....

no gold medals...
no flags....
no big hoopla...
just lots of giggles...
lots of hugs...
and great photo ops....

OH THANK YOU!!!!!! I haven't been watching the Olympics, either!!!!

But with all the "OOOOohs" and "Ahhhhs" in Pretty Blog Land, about them.... I was *chicken* to admit it.

But hoooooray! You have been BRAVE. YOU have broken-the-ice. Now we others can admit it toooooo!!!!

And even if *they* are amazed/shocked at us, we shall stick together in a "Sister Hood of Not Having To Watch, Because Every One Else Is Watching."

:-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

And your "watching", is so much more meaningful, anyway. :-)

I have watched the Olympics a bit, but I can certainly see the joy in what you have been watching instead.

I think you've made a great choice. 10 years from now you won't remember what happened on the Olympics, but you'll sure as heck remember the shadow dancing.
Have a good weekend!

He is definitely important. I have had many years where I didn't watch. My dad and I watched every night from 8 to midnight.
