my lap top has gone nuts...
thank goodness I have moved my photos
to my storage thingy mabob....
so now I'm on my O so slow desktop....

I don't understand why laptops don't last very long...seems like 3 or 4 years is all you get...
I'm not going to get off on my soap box....
Good news for us Texans...
a cool front coming in this week....
98 instead of 108....woo hoo...
maybe I can touch my steering wheel again..
with out 3rd degree burns...
I did get out and take a few photos yesterday...
nothing too exciting going on outside right now...
all the birds and squirrels are keeping a low profile... the dogs too...
I read a bumper sticker the other day...
it said:
you know you are from Texas...
when you look for shade before distance...
in a parking lot...
who cares if you walk a mile...
as long as your truck can get a little shade...
so you don't fry your hands when you
touch your steering wheel...
enough on our hot weather...
hope you are enjoying your August....
it's moving to fast already...

Sorry about the lap top....

But again, I have to tout the wonders of being on a Mac. My old iMac lasted for years and years. My husband's Mac laptop is going on and on.

Mmmmmmmmm, any possibility for looking at a Mac, next? :-)

I know. You have business stuff on the desk top and don't want to switch all of it, I suppose. Don't know. Just saying....

Re: Your comment, saying how you sometimes visit early and come back and comment later. Which would show up as 2 Visits, on Site Meter.

That I understand. And anyway, I know who you are and where you are located. Actually, my group of KNOWN Dear Readers is not awfully big, and I pretty much know about where everyone is located.

I get mucho Visits from places, my Dear Readers do not live in. Those frost me.

And I get numerous Visits daily, from someone in a neighboring city. And I DO NOT have any KNOWN Dear Readers, in that city.

I call that one, my *stalker.* And believe me, it really frosts me. -grrrrrrrr- I just don't like an unknown-to-me person, in this area, coming to my blog over and over, daily.

But... Nothing to do, but go Private I guess. And who wants to do that? Unless... Unlesss....... Must ask my computer geek, if I could BLOCK one reader!!!!!!!!! :-))))

The main thing going on outside here this year is rabbits....something about the weather has given us a bumper crop on them.
I'm glad you have gotten a little cool down.

I really need to move my pictures to a safe spot.....scares me to think about losing them. Maybe I'll put that on the top of the list of "to do's"!

Isn't it something when 98 is welcomed!!

I'm working on my husband's little lap top, because my imac is at our son's with him trying to work on it. I hope and pray my pictures are safe on my backup! I always get my son's hand me down computers and I'm thinking maybe I should get a brand new one. Problem is I'm not good at learning how to correctly operate them :)

I love that last photo! I didn't know laptops had such a short life....my husband uses his, but I like my good old table-top variety! Am getting a new one soon....it's on layaway.

I can't believe how quickly the summer is slipping by! And praise God it is not the terrible heat of last year! We are still working in the camper and I am ever so grateful for A/C!!

Cool front! YES! Come on DOWN!

I love that first photo. Laptop's lifespans are even shorter when there are teenagers in the house.

I was driving my sons car which has no air and has a black steering wheel. I was wearing gloves even though it was 110 outside. He took a picture of me and put it on FB. I didn't think it was that funny. But he did.

Great post. My husband goes yahoo a cold front is coming. My reply was yeah right.Okay so 98 is better than 108. Then last night the news said well the nights won't be as cool as expected. Darn it.
I have plenty to do I guess to keep me inside with no problem.

Have a great weekend!
