sleep over at Oma and Pawpaws house went well...
I didn't sleep well...but here lately that is normal...
the night sweats are better...but still have mild cases...
plus I was checking on him to make sure he stayed
covered up...that boy sure kicks off his covers...

he had fun with Pawpaw...
Pawpaw taught him how to scratch his back on the wall...
wish I would have grabbed my camera...
but was enjoying the moment too much...
they read the Mr. Brown book and ate french fries...

We have the granddog Ginger this week...
their neighbors tree fell over on their fence...
so the empty nest has not been too empty...
Rooster is loving it....I think Nolan too...

Hotrod has a new fort...
we have a closet under our stairway...
it doesn't have a door on it...
the opening is just the right size for a kiddo...
it was packed full of junk...
I cleaned it all out...now he can play in it...
he has blankets and stuffed animals in there...
he wanted to sleep in his fort...
I told him maybe when he's a little older...
my daughter used it as a place to read when she was young..
we had one of those battery operated lights...
I just realized that this weekend is Labor day...
just seems like yesterday it was Memorial Day...
I'm still not letting go of summer....

OHHHH! Now I know how you do those UNDER WATER pictures!!!! -giggggles- You had me guessing, yes you did. But now I know. ,-)

Oh a nook, all to one's self! How purrrrrfect! What a wonderful Oma you are, to clean it all out, and present it to HR, for his very own. Precious memories to be made. Just like your daughter has precious memories of that nook.

french fries, back scratches and reading are all things I love. the water pics are great, looks like he is swimming not in a water fall. i would have loved that nook to read in. my boys used to build a fort between the twin beds with blankets

Hotrod sure is enjoying the water! He'll be sad when the weather gets too cool for playing in the sprinklers.
How fun for you to have him for a sleepover!

Terrific water pictures sweet Deb. Glad the night sweats are getting a little better for you. Hotrod will have lots of fun in his fort. Hugs
