I had a scarey experience today....
I had to go pick up a check from a customer...
I had never been there before...
I passed it up the first time...
it was on a one way street...
so I had to go several blocks around...
to get back to the right spot...
 when I found the place...
I parked...went to the building...
opened the front door partially...
I saw several workers starting to pull up a big slab...
it was a good 4 x 6 piece of tile/cement or marble...
with chains....I stayed outside the door...
with the door cracked open...
watching them pull it up...
they were pulling it up 2 or three stories...
I was waiting to hear the all clear from the guys...
when all of a sudden... it came crashing down...
hit the floor...broke in to big pieces...
some of them even hit the door...
it traveled fast...
it was loud....
falling just inches away from where I was standing...
the guys came running down the stairs....
one guy grabbed me...he was so happy I was alive...
he almost gave me whiplash...
they just knew I had been hit...
it didn't really sink in till I was driving home...
how fortunate I was to have missed the building the first time...
my Angels were working over time...
Thank you Lord...

Oh MY DEAR! I am so happy that you are safe!!!

But you said you had been hit? How? Or did you mean to write, that the worker just knew you had NOT been hit? I hope.

Hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs.....

♥ Happy Halloween...

So glad you stayed outside the door, watching that!! It would have been great action photos, but I prefer to leave things like that for the daredevils!!
Love the morning glories!!
Did you get affected by Hurricane Sandy? We are just a hair too far north, so all we are getting is rain and wind, no damage!

Oh mercy! I believe you're right. You were wise to stay out; I might have gone in to watch. So glad you are safe and sound.

Wow, that is very scary to think about. I hope they block off the area before they try to move another slab up.

You must have had a guardian angel on your shoulder!

Thank the Lord for the angels that watch over us all the time. That was scary reading about it. So thankful that did not fall on you sweet Deb. Your morning glories are so pretty. I have one or two blooms every day now. Hugs
