Caterpillars....eating my dill....













I have caterpillars on my dill...
last year they destroyed my Mom's dill..
but she ended up with beautiful butterflies...

I'm willing to give up my dill to get beautiful butterflies...

That looks like a Monarch caterpillar. Try planting some milkweed nearby. Maybe they will get on that instead.

He is a pretty catepillar, and he seems to be fattening right up on your dill. I'm sure he'll turn out to be a lovely butterfly.

These are great shots Deb. I too would be willing to give up my dill to have beautiful butterflies in my garden. After all, you can always pick up some dill at HEB, butterflies are a little more difficult to come by! Kathy
