Look for a little brightness....

I decided to look for color around the house....
this is a table cloth....

this is on a painting my daughter did at a paint party...

this is a lap throw made by my Nana....
a little snack....I think oranges are my all time favorite..
but they have to be navel oranges...

my purse....

Nolan and Jakes toy box....

my purse...found at a thrift store for under $5.00.....

a plastic guitar given to hubby for his birthday in November...

a candle holder given to us by a neighbor for Christmas this year....
because this is what it looked like outside all day....
drizzly....misty...gray....miserable...
but it was warmer than last week....
so when the weather gives you dull...
look for a little brightness else where....
Happy Monday....

It's been dreary around here for too long!

Nice colors! It has been dreary around my area too. Can't wait for spring.

Once again, excellent perspective! That simple lesson applies in many ways; I needed this today. Great post! Thanks, Deb.

Yep, this time of year you probably DO have to look for color inside the house! Loving the table cloth - I'm a huge fan of the happy, smiling sunflowers! :-)

Yep, gray and dreary here too. I think the weather forecasters blew it! I keep peaking outside hoping for a hint of blue sky, but so far no luck. Have a great week. Kat

Thanks for sharing these colors today - yes, I too am a bit weary of grey fog, dripping eaves. But we need the moisture too... We go thru loads of doggie towels every time I let them out to stroll and play... Mud, water, mud, wet, mud, slime, mud.... :)

Lots of cheer in the colors you found. It looks like we will have a little sunshine today.

Excellent way to beat how the ughy-weather makes you feel!

I think I see a nice trend in Pretty Blog Land. Gals really working on not letting the this-time-of-year blahs get 'em down!!!!! How great is that? And you are one of them. :-)

But even though, your lovely header pic was taken on a gray day, I suppose.... It's still a beeeeeutiful Header photo. Lace curtains and the gray-ness, goes so well with the reddddddd edges, around your Header. Really a nice composition.

Finally the sun is shining around here, yippee! I like the stained glass candle holder and the guitar. Very colorful.

Hi Deb. I love your fun shots of color; some of them could be framed. They brighten up these gray days. And I also like your lacy curtain header shot.

Thanks for brightening my day! The sun was out here, but everything looked somehow blue. I'm better now.
