What did you want to be when you grew up?
Is that what you are doing now?
I always wanted to be a teacher and a Mom...
Never became a teacher....
but love being a Mom...

Great pictures!! Yes, your fire is better. It is cold here today.
I wanted to be a mom, nurse and teacher when I grew up. I was never a licensed nurse but learned many nursing skills from doctors and nurses when we were foster parents. I home schooled some of our children and I am a mom. Of the three things now I am only a mom and retired enjoying life, family and friends. Hugs
Ahhhhh, thanks for the roaring fire, but it will take more than that to warm us up with this foot+ snowfall!
I always wanted to be an Artist but took another path when I realized it would be difficult to support myself. I worked in the medical field for 15 years (loved it and the people I met), and now with the love & support of my wonderful hubby, I am pursuing my first dream.
How sweet (Oma). I love the shadows in your new header shot. Beautiful tones.
I (at various times of my life) wanted to be a writer or artist. So by blogging, I can be a little of this and by drawing and giving away my drawings, I can be a little of that. And right now, I'd like to be retired... But that may not last too much longer. :)
I never thought of being an accountant but I am. Mostly self taught till I got the education to back up my knowledge. I fell into it naturally. I wanted to be a nurse and I went to school for that after I became an accountant.
I wanted to be a mom and a journalist. I got to do lots of the first and some of the second. Neither one pays too well :)
We still have snow here and another snow day tomorrow. I wanted to be a teacher and became one. I do love it.
... and it's so hot here!! Haven't popped by in ages and you are always so regular on mine - thanks Deb!
Love your tribute to your Nana - a very special woman!
Great photos, as always, Deb!
