Care to take a peek....

care to take a peek...
come look at some of the sights on our property....
where sturdy shoes...jeans....
spray on some OFF.....

it is 16 acres of nature....

turkey buzzards are flying overhead....

honeysuckle vines mixed in with the trees...

a deer stand....not ours...a friend put his here....
I don't think he ever saw a deer while he was there...
did get photos of them on his game camera though...

old rusty barbed wire fences.....

prickly cactus.....

a pond that won't hold water...

a shell of a barn...
lot's of rust...lot's of wood...

ladybugs....

fields of wild flowers....

had to throw in some more Indian paintbrushes....

wild berries....

it is not manicured....it's wild and woolly...
but so much fun to explore....
hope you enjoyed your little visit....

Yall come back now....you hear.....

Our pond won't hold water either....no rain and it almost dries up...makes me so sad.

Lovely peek!

Especially of more Indian Paint Brush and wild berries.

But!

"Ol' Auntie" has a worry. -sigh- Deer Ticks! They scare the knickers off of me!

Does the Deet spray, take care of them? Do you still have to check for ticks, when you come in? Or at the end of the day?

I know people who have been bitten, and I am terrified of them. -sigh-

You can stop laughing at me, now. lol.

I would so love to wander here and there on your beautiful property. Love the Texas state outline! What fun it must be to explore all the fields and woods, beautiful flowers everywhere. Soon you can show the little one all that is out there, how fun will that be?
